Aarunya is perched between Kandy and Dambulla, just 1.5 km off the main A9 road connecting the two towns, and situated in the tranquil village of Alawatugoda. The resort is about 14 km from Kandy city center and accessible via a well-maintained, carpeted road that ascends to our mountaintop location. Aarunya is accurately marked on Google Maps, ensuring seamless navigation.

  • Transportation options include private car, train, helicopter, or seaplane transfers to Kandy, followed by a car transfer to the resort
  • A helipad in close proximity to the property is planned to be operational from early 2025, facilitating direct helicopter transfers.
